The application period for 2022-2023 Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funding will open at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, September 7th and close at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, October 13th. The city of Peoria receives ESG funding each year from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

 

Funding must be used to provide services to individuals experiencing homelessness in eligible programs including emergency shelter operations and rapid rehousing. Eligible applications will be reviewed by the Home For All Continuum of Care Governing Board and agencies will be notified of funding decisions following City Council approval. Funding will be awarded for two years.

 

Interested organizations are encouraged to attend a virtual application training session. City staff will offer the virtual application training session on Wednesday, September 8th  at 2:00 PM. Log-in information for the virtual application training sessions is available at http://www.peoriagov.org/community- development/neighborhood-development-division/.

 

For those who cannot attend, a recording of one of the training sessions will be posted

on http://www.peoriagov.org/community-development/neighborhood-development-division/ under the “Applications and Forms” tab under “Emergency Solutions Grant”.
