On Wednesday, April 16, 2020, Project Coordinator Megan Nguyễn and Assistant Director Joe Dulin participated in Bradley University’s Careers in Public Service Panel. Members of the Community Development Department offered advice to prospective graduates applying for jobs, detailed their educational background and experience within the public sector and also provided information on the many ways to be involved in one’s community even during quarantine and shelter-in-place.
This virtual event, hosted by Assistant Director of the Smith Career Center Carmen Kremitzki, gave Bradley University students an opportunity to connect with hiring and recruitment individuals, learn more about the different types of “public service” fields, and explore future career opportunities. Also featured on the panel were representatives from the Peace Corps and the Social Security Administration office.
