This Monday, August 12th, Grants Manager Kathryn Murphy led a presentation and discussion on the HUD Consolidated Plan. Ms. Murphy provided information on the general regulations from HUD on the use of grant funds as well as the specific ways the City implements its HUD funds, some of which includes the roof repair program, emergency repair program, and public service grants. Thirty community members attended the meeting, which followed a conversation led by the Police Department. The Community Development Department will continue to engage with the public on the Consolidated Plan, with more outreach events scheduled in the upcoming weeks.
